    Serenade Es-Dur, KV 375

    IGOR STRAWINSKY
    Concerto für Klavier und Blasorchester

    – Pause –

I assume the Stravinsky Concertino is on some of the other stops.

  • Manu says:

This is such a presumptuous orchestra. All their playing is flawless but superficial. These play conductprograms with Yuja, Mitsuko or Leif-Ove are just so boring… but programmers see, to like this. Only when MCo get a good conductor like Gatti they have something to say.

    • Anon says:

They can’t afford Gatti. What pick up group in the world can afford a “good” conductor these days? Conductors demand salaries that are exponentially larger than what any musician makes. Why should these players take a cut out of their own earnings to pay for a conductor they can do without on a lot of repertoire.

  • Rob says:

Maybe makela will come on and do some bits on the cello

  • Anon says:

Great way to keep the cost down!

  • Pedant says:

While they play their instruments. Not whilst.

  • Joe Green says:

Oh, so after a few lessons with Klaus, she’s now also a conductor.
