Don’t ever tell Yo Yo you play the piano. He’ll make you prove it.

Lovely stuff going on here with CERN physicist and Director-General, Fabiola Gianotti.

Almost as fast as the speed of light.

What a treat to hear this discussion, as well as the music…thank you.

  • Observing2 says:

Yo Yo Ma is quite legendary in that he’s probably the only A-tier Asian musician that no one seems to have a word against him for.

He seems to be universally liked and well-acknowledged, in both western and Asian media, by critics and audiences. Not an easy feat.

Perhaps a similar standing for Mitsuko Uchida.

    But that’s pretty much it.

  • AD says:

Such a charming duet by two giants in their field.
    Thank you.

  • Margaret Koscielny says:

Yo Yo Ma makes playing a composition which is, basically, a scale ascending and descending, sound transcendental.
