SanFran Con takes a sex assault rap
NewsThe San Francisco Conservatory of Music has been accused by the US Government of mishandling a sexual assault investigation and violating its Title IX obligations to prevent gender discrimination on its campus.
The alleged incidents occurred in 2022.
The SFCM and the Department of Education reached a resolution agreement this week in which the Conservatory will ‘reimburse the student for up to $5,000 in counseling and medical expenses; and allow her to retake any classes in which her grades were negatively impacted by the incidents.
