And Lang Lang is a clown.
Artistic standards would have to be drummed down several notches for LL to ever be considered a great artist.
He has no clue how tasteless he really is.
It pains me to no end to see him get lauded to the extent he is, when there are so many other pianists out there who can easily outplay him not only musically, but technically as well.
He may be taking his fame all the way to the bank, but he will never be close to being considered a genuinely great pianist (i.e., Zimmerman, de Larrocha, Argerich, among so many others).
He is like male equivalent of Khatia Buniatashvilli. His entire aura reeks of bad taste.
