Met mourns piano man
RIPMusicians around New York are lamenting the passing of Christopher Kennedy, resident piano technician of the Metropolitan Opera for 15 years until his retirement in 2015.
At the Met, his responsibilities covered 44 Yamahas.

Christopher was a lovely, lovely person. We would see one another frequently at the opera house and in the neighborhood, and despite his health issues during the past few years, he was always upbeat and unfailingly pleasant.
May he rest in peace.
Chris was a fantastic human. He brought so much light to what can be a very dark place these days.
Chris was a master of his profession, a cherished friend, and a man beloved by all who knew him. His smile, his wit, his warmth, his kindness and compassion will be missed tremendously. RIP dear Chris, your memory will not fade.
We are all better people for having known Christopher Kennedy. He was a light in this dark world. Farewell, Sweet Prince.
