Wait, as far as I know, she’s pianist and conductor. Also a violinist?!

Claire Huangi,s finest pianist. Big lost for Liszt University.

Great performance of Schuberts Aufenthalt! Would be happy to take a lesson..

What a shameful tragedy for a new mother!

  • TITUREL says:

Norman, more context/info would be very helpful here. Lots of German articles are behind paywalls. Was she sacked BECAUSE she was pregnant/gave birth? Or were there issues surrounding her appointment in Weimar that predated her becoming a mother? Are laws in today’s Germany so discriminatory that one can be “let go” because one’s status, i.e. becoming a parent, changes?
