Dutch mourn leading harpsichordist
RIPThe Dutch harpsichordist Anneke Uittenbosch died yesterday in Amsterdam, aged 93.
A contemporary of Gustav Leonhardt, Ton Koopman, Frans Brüggen, and Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Anneke recorded for EMI and Etcetera, focussing on the works of Bach, Purcell, and Sweelinck
She was professor at the Amsterdam Conservatory for more than 25 years.
