We’ve been notified of the death this weekend of David Tcimpidis, at the age of 80.
Tcimpidis was a long-time faculty member and administrator at Mannes College of Music.
Published by Carl Fischer, his music has been referred to as a ‘Neoimpressionist,’ for its evocative colors and effects.
