  • Observing says:

    A woman marrying…another woman?!

    • Arto says:

      Love = Love
      Welcome in 21st century

      • Gustavo says:

        Welcome to life on earth!

Even the monkeys in the zoo…do it.

      • Observing says:

So under your so-called 21st century ideology of ‘love is love’, a man can marry a horse?

        • Brettermeier says:

A horse would not be able to legally consent.

          Just like you!

        • Mel Cadman says:

Profoundly stupid as well as just bigoted … I can’t imagine anyone (or thing) would want to marry you!

        • Anonymous says:

If a man is allowed to marry a woman, why can’t he marry a horse?

There is no more slippery slope from gay marriage to bestiality than there is from heterosexual marriage to bestiality.

          • mk says:

Slippery slope is a logical fallacy.

Again, review the concept of consent. It has all the answers you seek. (Assuming you actually seek to understand and not to troll)

          • Anonymous says:

I think you need to spend more time learning to read and less time attacking people. My post clearly says that it is just as absurd to argue gay marriage leads to bestiality as to argue that straight marriage leads to bestiality, i.e., Observing is spouting idiocy. There is no greater logical connection between allowing gay marriage and allowing bestiality than there is allowing straight marriage and allowing bestiality. It’s just nonsense. I have no clue why you are arguing with me.

To spellit out clearly enough for your reading: OBSERVING IS POSTING BIGOTED NONSENSE. I AGREE WITH YOUR POSITION SO YOU PROBABLY DON’T NEED TO CALL ME A TROLL AND, IF YOU HAVE, YOU MIGHT WANT TO APOLOGIZE.

          • Sue Sonata Form says:

That is of course unless the horse
            Is the famous Mister Ed!

        • Dargomyzhsky says:

I continue to be surprised that the far right is accommodated on Slipped Disc. You know perfectly well that your comment is as ridiculous as it is malevolent.

        • V says:

If nature is left to itself, the latter almost never happens (as far as I know), but the former does.

        • Sue Sonata Form says:

          Giddy up!! Love is love.

    • Willym says:

As your name suggests you are very observant.

    • Urgh says:

How did I know there would be something like this here.

Why do you feel the need to post comments that do nothing other than to make people feel lesser, and highlight your bigoted views.

And if discussion on this site is moderated, why are these kind comments, which add nothing to the article, and invite bad feeling, allowed.

Surely not to incite argument (yes, I know I’m rising to it) or get clicks… right?

    • a colleague says:

      and your point is…?

    • Mel Cadman says:

… and your point is, bigot?

  • Brettermeier says:

    Congratulations!

  • IP says:

Nothing beats female conductors, harpsichord players, and three-dollar bills.

  • Adam Stern says:

Here’s wishing them years of happiness, and a dearth of hatefulness and bias.

  • CarlD says:

What is the point of having moderators if not to prevent bigoted comments??

  • MMcGrath says:

At first glance, I thought it was a young Alice Cooper!

  • Simon Scott says:

    Shameful.
