“She” also identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns they / them, as you have been told before when they participated in the Queen Elisabeth Competition. I know you don’t care but you should, and I know some of your readers will spit on them but that says more about those readers than about Jasmine White.

When William Christie did Handel’s “Trionfo del tempo e del disinganno” at Juilliard in 2022 she sang Disinganno. She was marvelous. (So was Julie Roset, who sang Bellezza.)

    Congratulations to Ms White.

Is the agents and their firms who have decided that their activity needs a new verb to replace the perfectly adequate “represent”? “Agent” as a verb trips clumsily off the tongue, especially in the passive voice (“agented”: yuck). What’s wrong with “IMG Artists represents Ms. White”?

If she won the competition, why does she look so sad?

  • Tiredofitall says:

Yes, incorrect pronouns are the most important takeaway from this announcement of the achievement(s).

We all pick our own causes.
