  • David A. Boxwell says:

“Micromanaged manager of content provider” sought by the BBC.

  • Rank & File says:

Nothing about diversity or outreach? No mention of ‘agility’?
    Crikey.

    • Simon says:

The diversity and outreach part will come at the interview stage once they have weeded out the white men who might actually know something about music. These days, not having the background knowledge is known as a ‘development opportunity’.

  • JB says:

I think we need to appreciate that the BBC is trying its best in doing a tough job in difficult times. There’s never going to be a solution that pleases everybody, and perhaps it’s time to adapt to the shifting social climate

    • Mel Cadman says:

Perhaps both the Tory dominated, subservient BBC hierarchy as well as a toxic and philistine government are responsible for the planned decimation of the BBC orchestras and Singers? Despite decades of this continual threat, their resilience is extraordinary and their reputation as broadcasters without equal remains completely unchallenged. If they can find someone able to defeat the philistines, wonderful!

  • Kingfisher says:

A job for those who find lion taming a little too sedate

  • Monty Earleman says:
