It’s John Gilhooly, director of the Wigmore Hall, showing King Charles to his seat at the hall’s new early-music venue, the church of St James, Spanish Place.

 

 

On the menu was Handel’s four coronation anthems and his Dettingen Te Deum, performed by the French ensemble, Le Concert Spirituel.

They say: GOD SAVE THE KING – Wigmore Hall. Yesterday night was an amazing night !
