One of the most agreeable execs in the orchestra world has just been made executive director of the Camerata Pacifica.

Ana Papakhian, who started out as personal assistant to Marilyn Horne, went on to be Communications Director at the Indianapolis Symphony and the Cleveland Orchestra, followed by a stint in marketing at Santa Barbara’s Music Academy.

Now the Camerata Pacifica will see her light. ‘It’s with great pride that I’m joining such an excellent artistic organization,’ said Ana. ‘The leadership and artists of the Camerata are inspiring due to their uncompromising commitment to presenting great music and creating communities. In this new chapter, we’ll collaborate to take the entire organization to the next level of recognition and growth.’

Camerata Pacifica is a collective of chamber musicians who perform in 4 venues in California and share videos with hospital systems.
