Barbra Streisand wins the Jewish Nobel prize

“Jewish Nobel Prize” is redundant.
I don’t mind people who accomplish great things being given prizes…but she already has more money than she can ever spend. Give the money to a deserving Jewish charity.

My thought exactly as well.
The winner of this prize each year is charged with giving away the prize money to charities of their choice – they do not keep the money themselves.
She gave the $1M prize away to three charities.
This is a philanthropic prize, when you win this prize, you don’t keep the money…but you do have a say to which charities you would like to see benefit from this generous gift.
She always does.
She may give it to a charity yet. We don’t know. But I hope she does. Anyway, she deserves the honour. She is wonderful.

The only Pop singer who was so pretentious she once hired a foreign policy advisor. I doubt she would donate the money to charity. She typifies the Hollywood mogul who lives and acts like a monarch but promotes socialism for everyone else. Shhe was notable for not being a very nice colleague if I recall correctly. Milton Friedman would have been a far greater choice for the Jewish Noble Prize were he still alive!
Isn’t it incredibly racist and divisive, to hand out an award based on belonging to a certain religiously constructed ethnicity, rather than based on all humanity embracing achievements, like the Nobel Price does?

Daniel Barenboim would have been a much worthier recipient. But probably he wouldn’t have accepted this highly partisan prize, that awarded Israeli politicians who enforced building settlements on by international law disputed land, in short people who saw hate.
