The newly-saved ORF symphony orchestra of Vienna, led by Marin Alsop, has chosen Łucja Madziar as joint first concertmaster.
Łucja, who is Polish, will share duties with Maighréad McCrann.
She was previously alternate concertmaster at Staatsoper Hannover and Deutsche Oper Berlin.
