The British tenor Laurence Kilsby shared first prize at the Heidelberger Frühling competition with the Korean Tae Hwan Yun.

The jury was chaired by Thomas Quasthoff.

Kilsby, 24, won last year’s Wigmore Hall Song Competition and joined the studio of the Opéra national de Paris. He has been signed by AskonasHolt.
