London hall chief is hired by Cleveland

It has been announced in Cleveland that Craig Hassall, chief executive of the Royal Albert Hall, is to be president of Playhouse Square, a venue with seven resident arts companies.

Craig, 57, will relocate after Christmas.

The remuneration will be considerable.

The Royal Albert Hall has yet to confirm his departure.

    Playhouse Square is, I believe, 5 venues, not 1.

      11 total venues, with the original five theatres constructed in the 1920s. By number of performance spaces, Playhouse Square is the largest performing arts campus in the US excepting Lincoln Center. One of the many excellent cultural amenities in Cleveland!
