Peter Mraz became head of the American Pianists Association just a year ago.

Now he’s gone.

Dear American Pianists Association Community,
We are writing to let you know that American Pianists Association’s Board of
Directors has accepted the resignation of President & CEO Peter Mraz, who
wanted to share these sentiments:
“It has been a privilege to serve the mission of the American Pianists
Association. I am very proud of what we achieved together, and I look forward
to watching the APA’s continued success.”
We thank Peter for helping us kick off the 2023 American Pianists Awards season
and look forward to making this year’s competition our finest yet. The 2023
Awards continue September 18 with a free community concert in Indianapolis.

    • Past APA winner says:

APA alum here. Wonderful organization helping out up and coming American pianists. During the pandemic, they chose to give all 5 of their finalists of the American Pianists Awards 25k to support them through the tough times, so you know they out their money where their mouth is. Look through their past winners, you’ll see some names 🙂
