Andrea Bocelli jumps in for his son
NewsFrom the Times today:
… Matteo Bocelli, 24, became stranded in Germany and was unable to reach the concert in Marina di Pietrasanta, the internationally renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli stepped onto the stage full of apologies.
“Normally in life it’s the sons who replace the fathers. In this case it’s up to me, I have to replace my son,” Bocelli, 63, told the audience.
I don’t quite understand. Is the son a lawyer, too?
