Way to go, maestro Inbal! May he have many more productive years. Who said all the great conductors are dead? After all these decades his Mahler cycle on Denon is still one of the best.

  • Chicagorat says:

When I read such headlines, sheer terror runs through my veins.

But in this case, well done Maestro Inbal.

  • Anton Bruckner says:

It will be nice if the Israel Phil invite maestro Inbal to conduct!

  • Music Lover says:

    Wonderful conductor! Too much underrated!

  • Helene Kamioner says:

  • Nathaniel Rosen says:

Here is a little known fact. Maestro Inbal is the last conductor to appear in concert with Jascha Heifetz. It was in the late 60’s at the Hollywood Bowl with the Israel Philharmonic and the concerto was the Bruch g minor. After that performance Heifetz played many times as soloist but did the conducting himself, even in the Prokofiev g minor.
