Postwebernesque music at the edge of silence, but – in contrast to Webern – with octaves here & there, which were taboo among the Viennese Trinity.
A lot of angst and despair, but in a musical way.
Here is an orchestral piece (mind the colours):

Beautifully scored. But very fragmentary, this is how it feels when walking along the empty streets of La Défense during a lockdown – anxious and alienated between the endless glass and steel buildings, a living, isolated speck among blind, dehumanizing forces, with flashes of hope to find a place to sit.
In other words, totally unmusical nonsense.
No, it’s very human, and FULL of how we all feel today, being modern!
