The numbers are the sum of known musician deaths from Covid since March 2020.
How do you know any of these tragic events were caused by Omicron, as opposed to Delta? After all, Omicron and Delta co-exist in the community and, as far as I have read, none of these deaths has officially been attributed to Omicron. On the contrary, early studies support initial clinical observations in South Africa that suggest Omicron manifests less severely than previous variants. That should be a cause to alleviate fears, not stoke them.

Quite right, Sam McElroy . The spreading of alarm and despondency is downright irresponsible . What we do not know is how many of these deaths are actually attributable to other causes, and perhaps even more pertinently , of those deaths actually caused BY covid rather than being deaths of subjects who had tested positive, but died of other diseases, how many had been vaccinated, and to what level ?
It is still the virus they’re dying of, whatever version you call it. May not be Omicron, but serious with no room for compacency nor an excuse for not getting three jabs. Why London is in such a mess as a third of whatever millions is still unvaccinated and in the main, the most in ICU. We have 97% vaccinated where I live in the north.

That’s not because of a virus. That’s called old age. We’ve gone bonkers and the majority have signed their well-being over to the pharmaceutical companies, giving away their rights to freedom of movement as well.

When someone, virus free, would normally still live some years beyond now, but pass away while fighting a COVID infection, COVID is one attributable, if not THE major contributing factor, to their death. The average life expectancy in first world countries is approx 79.5 for men, 84.5 for women.
And if you’re asserting the COVID pandemic is fake or overblown, please think twice. Had not action been taken to try to curb the worldwide spread initially, the world death toll would likely be in the 10s of millions now, instead of the approximate 5.9 million worldwide at the moment. While you may be okay with that, I am not. And fact is you should NOT be okay with it.
It’s fake until you or someone you know has been hospitalized because of it. I find it hard to believe that you wouldn’t have known someone who has fallen victim (that must some bubble!). I’ve known a good number.
