      I know you’re being facetious, but the gauge for any instrumentalist to be considered GOAT must take into account significant pieces dedicated to or written for that instrumentalist.

      For instance, for clarinetists, who can come close to Anton Stadler if none other than Mozart wrote for him THE clarinet concerto for the ages?

      Is there even any woodwind instrumentalist who comes close?
