Emma Dunch has left the Sydney Symphony Orchestra with immediate effect, claiming she has been a victim of a ‘politically architected ‘hit job’ of the highest order’.

Dunch says she will be pursuing a case for harrassment.

She was previously a cultural PR in New York and had not run an orchestra before.

Australia is looking for another new captain.
