Tragic news: Young Spanish star, 31, is killed on Mont Blanc
RIPThe Geneva Chamber Orchestra is mourning the death in a mountain accident of its solo timpanist, Sergi Sempere.
No details have been released, except that the accident occured while he was climing Mont Blanc, the tallest peak in Europe.
Mont Blanc is one of the worlds most deadly mountains. But many guiding companies describe Mont Blanc as more of a “long walk” apparently.

If that’s what he liked then I wouldn’t knock him. It’s got to be a better way to go that having your guts rot slowly from cancer or having your brain fail from dementia over a period of years.
The guy was living his life the way he wanted. Everyone does something “stupid.” Life is made up of choices. Condolences to his family.
