The National Gallery of Art is in Washington D.C. It does not own any Caravaggios. London’s great museum calls itself simply ‘The National Gallery’, which contains several Caravaggios. The text here confuses the two.
Americans always have trouble with British titles!
The real problem is mistaking a British accent for authority.
