Slovenian pianist cleans up in Sydney

The Italian-Slovenian pianist Alexander Gadjiev came first and won six additional six prizes at the 2021 Sydney International Piano Competition, which was held online.

Second was a Ukrainian Artem Yasynskyy. In third place was a Javanese-Australian, Calvin Abdiel.

Gadjiev, who studied in Salzburg is now based in Berlin. Hehas previously won the Hamamatsu in Japan.
