A pianist employed by Silvio Berlusconi has been found guilty of lying to prosecutors in a bid to cover up sexual antics at the notorious bunga-bunga parties hosted by the former Italian prime minister.
Danilo Mariani was handed a two-year suspended sentence by a court in Siena for claiming that Berlusconi’s physical contact with his young female party guests was limited to “shaking their hands”.
“He wasn’t groping them, he was practicing his scale fingerings.”
