Norman, it isn’t “some promotion” … given the state of Koeln at the moment, it makes perfect sense. Someone with local knowledge who can get them through the transition to a new theater, and stabilize the previous and controversial Intendant. He will have to retire in 5 years, so it makes perfect sense that he is a caretaker. Please stop with these judgements and comments when you know very little about situations like this…
