Herbert Kretzmer, the Daily Mail theatre critic who wrote the lyrics for Charles Aznavour’s hit ‘She’ has died at 95.

He gave up journalism after writing the musical Les Miserables.

    He didn’t exactly write Les Misérabes. He wrote the English lyrics to this French musical. Made enough to retire from work on, though!

    In any case, RIP.

    ‘She’ is a great song especially when sung by Aznavour.
