UK pianist, trapped in Canada, starts new fest on a farm
mainAnnie Yim, unable to get home from Vancouver due to the pandemic and cancelled flights, applied herself to being a volunteer at Inner City Farms.
Now she has founded Concerts on the Farm with Vancouver pianists Robert Silverman and Mark Anderson, the Emily Carr String Quartet and cellist Jonathan Lo.
Unusual, but effective.
Well done!
There are worse places to be “stuck” than Vancouver. Do two days of concerts constitute a “festival,” though?
If she is a UK citizen who is ordinarily resident in the UK she would have been allowed entry into the UK, is that not correct?
