The pianist Ariel Cohen has succeeded the veteran Idith Zvi as artistic director of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master competition.

The next contest has been postponed to 18 April to 3 May 2021.

Well, let’s not push the myth that winning the Rubinstein prize automatically guarantees a major career. When is the last time you heard a Gregory Allen performance?

I wish this and ALL other competitions just cease to exist, corona or not. All, except for very young kids (ages 6-12). An the awards would be public concerts ONLY!
