Wonderful woman. Met her through Heather Harper, and she gave me a lift once to Willesden Green station after a lesson and lunch one day. She was at Heather’s funeral last May. Do pray we have many more years of Anita.

Belated birthday wishes to a great lady. The documentary charting her return to Auschwitz accompanied by her son Raphael is very moving. The gift of music which she and her family have bestowed on us is not just great joy but also a magnificent rebuff to evil.
Her eloquence in speech is matchless and impressive, but it is her deep feelings of humanity which will stay as an enduring understanding of and warning for evil.
