I think this performance took place in 1989, not 1992. In any case, Bernstein died in October 1990.

I’d guess so, considering Bernstein passed away in 1990.
Marvellous concert (although the evening I went one of the principals, Jerry Hadley I think, was indisposed). But it was not 1992 as Bernstein died in 1990. Perhaps 1989?
Some of this performance was indeed fascinatingly memorable, though possibly for the wrong reasons. Didn’t Adolph Green also participate as Pangloss? (I saw this on TV.)
