The Frenchman Pierre Bleuse will succeed Alexander Vedernikov as chief conductor of the Odense Symphony Orchestra, starting 2021.

Bleuse is joint music director of the new-music Lemanic Modern Ensemble.

    Good for him. His father is a composer and former conservatoire director in Toulouse. Quite a character.

    Nice. Heard him conducting the orchestra in Franck and Stravinsky at short notice earlier this year. Let’s see (or hear) how the – rather consevative – local audience will receive him.
