This brilliant video by Ben Marsh and family is a vivid reflection of the family trauma many of us are experiencing.

Ben Marsh is senior lecturer in American history at the University of Kent.

The song is from Les Mis.

If it weren’t for isolation, the record labels would be on their doorstep with a contract.

    Could we also hear the Albrecht family (including a teenage Ursula van der Leyen) sing for a more coherent EU response to all of this, please?

      But health care is not “an EU competence”. It is something that is explicit done by each country in the EU in their own way.

      However, the EU members have shared some patients (French and Italian patients are being sent to Germany and Luxembourg), and agreed a common procurement policy.
