Acrobats and the saccharine nonsense is what is exported. For something deeper and more interesting, try the Ch’in. Unfortunately, it is about as loud as the clavichord, so not a good fit for, say, Carnegie Hall or the Musikverein.

I think it’s a lovely piano. It’s not overdone like some of the past Steinway special edition or art pianos.

I am sad for Lang Lang, for I believe that underneath the glitz there is a proper talent waiting to escape. Nonetheless, he really only has himself to blame for the disdain that he now attracts almost universally

2.Have no ears/taste.
He, along with Fazil Say, are the most interesting, artistic, and fascinating pianists in the world. Everybody else is boring/amateurish in comparison.
Lang Lang is absolutely the best pianist in the world. He’s also the most popular, so all you haters can shut up and take your jealousy elsewhere.
I do agree that this piano looks terrible though.
