She wasn’t in the jury, Martha
No, she wasn’t; she’s President of the competition, methinks.
Is there some kind of implication here? If not, why are two of the six being singled out?
Argerich was not on the jury. In any case, two are French, two are Japanese, and I’m having trouble knowing what the point of this post is, as also what the use of the word ‘squeezed’ is supposed to signify.
Clearly, if a competition is French, then any French finalists couldn’t possibly have reached the finals due to the merits of their own playing. Not sure if this applies to other countries as well?
