At last a Danish winner
mainThe highly promising violinist Anna Agafia Egholm, placed third in the Carl Nielsen Competition earlier this year, has won the Tibor Varga contest in Switzerland. The reward is 20,000 Swiss francs.
I have a feeling we’ll hear more of Anna, 22. In both competitions she ran off with the new-piece prize.
