It appears that Tim McKeough, the Met’s PR chief who leaves this week, is going to head up a new LA office for London-based WildKatPR.

Also joining the firm in New York is Liza Prijatel Thors of Rebecca Davis PR.

None of these flaks is on the Slippedisc Christmas card list.

For good reason.

The highly promising violinist Anna Agafia Egholm, placed third in the Carl Nielsen Competition earlier this year, has won the Tibor Varga contest in Switzerland. The reward is 20,000 Swiss francs.

I have a feeling we’ll hear more of Anna, 22. In both competitions she ran off with the new-piece prize.
