The Austrian violinist Emmmanuel Tjeknavorian, 24, is taking over three Kennedy Center concerts this week from the Frenchman Renaud Capuçon, who is unwell.

    Get well soon, Renaud – the duo recital I heard with you and your brother Gautier in San Francisco a number of years ago was one of the finest musical listening experiences of my life.
