Sudden death of outstanding US cellist
mainWe have been notified of the death yesterday of Eric Dahlin, assistant principal cello of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and teacher at the Hartt School.
Eric studied in London and spent his whole career in the same orchestra.

This is a terrible shock and a terrible loss. I performed with Eric many times – he was an outstanding musician, beautiful technique, lovely tone, fine soloist and great section player, always ready with a smile and friendly word. A gentle person and a really wonderful musician.
