Indeed. And there has been much written about its provenance, though I am thinking mainly of articles and papers by musicologists, and thus unlikely to be known to anti-musicological SD. And so comes about the assumption — “me neither” — that we are all just as unaware of the work, just as ignorant of what can be known about it.
