Mr Kelce is a noted saxophonist among football players.
UPDATE from Peter Dobrin: ‘We have the Philadelphia Orchestra, the epitome of high culture, sophistication, art, celebrating a bunch of grown men beatin’ the crap out of each other,’ Kelce told the audience.
Good for the Philadelphia Orchestra for having a little fun with the championship. (Too bad I am a Chicago Bears fan, so am unlikely to see the CSO doing anything similar anytime soon.)
Baritone sax. Who knew! Anyway, I was really happy for the Eagles, and I’m happy for the current ‘resurgence’ of the Philadelphia Orchestra (they’re sounding great).
Only good can come when arts and sports support each other. Philly knows how to do it! We are the city of brotherly love for a reason. So glad they had Tony Orlando interviewed in that piece; he is a wonderful ambassador for the Philadelphia Orchestra and what this city is about.
