I hope the AAM’s financial situation is as secure as the artistic one. Perhaps hiring someone from the for-profit sector as Chief Administrator or whatever they have, would help. American not-for-profits have found this helps immensely. Having someone who just “loves music” doesn’t cut the mustard. They have to understand the marketplace, money et all. And, to know how to raise money. Good luck to them.
