Jobs watch: Philharmonie chief takes second post
mainLaurent Bayle, director general of the Cité de la musique and the Philharmonie de Paris, has been appointed head of Strasbourg’s modernist Musica festival.
Bayle founded Musica in 1982, before he went on to Parisian glory. He returns to replace Rémy Pflimlin, who died in December. It’s not clear how long he can hold both jobs. He’s not a conductor, after all.
