They might rise, slightly, say, from zero to one or two. He is no pedagogue. His solo repertoire was limited to what was in competition requirements and stale salon music by harpists. He has no musical sophistication. His performing is self-indulgent. Yes, he won a fine position. It is shameful for our top conservatories to think that is enough to be one of their teachers. Meanwhile, real teachers go without positions.
