Mndoyants was a Van Cliburn finalist in 2013.
Small item of note….he is a Russian of Armenian descent. Congratulations, Nikita!
Congrats to him, a very thoughtful pianist. I became a fan hearing him in the Cliburn.
and Dinara Klinton was 3rd !
Let me add – here is Dinara playing at the wonderful small church St Mary’s Perivale!

We loved him here is Tucson (http://www.downtowntucson.org/event/zemlinsky-quartet-and-nikita-mndoyants-at-leo-rich-theatre/) as a pianist and composer. My favorite YouTube with Nikita is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhgQ2Pu8X3E. Congrats, a most worthy winner.
