Culture Secretary is sacked
mainIn her day of the long knives, Theresa May has told John Whittingdale that his services are no longer required.
Whittingdale won’t be widely mourned. He was anti-BBC and disinterested in serious culture.
He tweeted: ‘Has been a privilege to serve as Culture Secretary. I wish my successor every success & will continue to support creative industries.’
Whittingdale can now go back to his dominas and dominoes.
‘Uninterested’, not ‘disinterested’. FFS.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
