Amazing how little the body language has advanced!
…. or how well-developed it already was, depending on your point of view. 🙂
He is clearly talented. Still not sure he has much depth though.
Be sure to let us all know when you’ve decided.
Here’s me at 6 years old with the Istanbul Symphony…. haha ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRXoeMz015A
Should any innocent 10 year-old be exposed to “Bolero”, much less faux conduct it?
This is dancing, not conducting.
At least he was 10 at the time and not 35, like a certain Mexican conductor 😉
How “certain” are you that the 35-year-old “conductor” you are talking about is “Mexican”?
“Certain”. If a person holds a Mexican passport and refers to themselves as “Mexican”, it’s good enough for me.
Another question might be whether “the 35-year-old” is a conductor or a “conductor“?

Thanks to MG for replying and to RW for clarifying whom you had in mind.
@M2N2K I apologize for not naming her outright, as I hoped that RW2013 would respond and supply the link to exactly the clip I had in mind (which he did).
No apologies necessary. Now that I saw the clip, I must say that, considering the nature of the piece and that this is a rehearsal, I think that what she is doing there does make sense.
That’s just silly – I can bet he cringes when he sees this….. ; D
Cute. But not as cute as this conductor…

He is not conducting. He is moving his arms in a manner that mimics conducting.
